Chicken Macaroni soup

Hot & sour soup

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup boneless chicken cut in small cubes
    • Salt
    • 1/2 tsp garlic paste
    • 1 tsp black pepper
    • 1 tsp MSG (ajinomoto)
    • 1 tsp sugar
    • 3 tsp oil
    • 3 tbsp vinegar
    • 2 tsp soy sauce
    • 1 tiny small bell pepper
    • 1 carrot
    • 4 cup chicken stock
    • 1/2 cup macaroni boiled
    • 2 tbsp corn flour
    • 1 egg beaten

    Directions

    1. Marinate chicken with 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp ajinomoto, 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp oil, 1 tsp vinegar, and 1/2 tsp corn flour mix and keep in refrigerator for 1/2 hour
    2. Chopped vegetables and fry separately
    3. In a vessel heat oil and fry garlic for 2 - 3 mins
    4. Add marinated chicken and keep frying for about 5 mins now add 1/2 cup stock
    5. Add salt, black pepper, vinegar, soy sauce, ajinomoto and stir well
    6. now add macaroni and farther cook 3 mins
    7. Put carrot and bell pepper in it
    8. After a while add remaining stock and let it boil on medium heat
    9. Make a paste of corn flour with water and pour in soup
    10. keep stirring
    11. when comes to a boil add beaten egg very slowly
    12. Cook more about 2 mins and serve hot with soy sauce or vinegar sauce

    only the egg white is to be used or the yolk even?

    To make chicken stock you can use chicken wings and add 1 1/2 jug of water some salt few garlic clove 1 small onion some black peppers whole, 1 cardamom, 3 cloves, 1" cinnamons stick and then let it boil at high flame then let it simmer for about 1 hour then strain and reserve it.
