13/09/09 4:40PM by Lata Mohan - Dubai Momos prepared in the North-East of India are larger and rounded in shape. I have seen that they shred the vegetables mainly Carrot, Cabbage and Onions. Even the chicken is shredded thin and long rather than minced. Very healthy, easy to prepare and very filling.

Once you make the momos, you can easily freeze them and then thaw them for later. It's easy to prepare when you have some guests show up all of a sudden

Momos Chutney is pretty easy to make. Just combine 5 red chillies, 5 pods of garlic with 2 tbsp of vinegar and a pinch of salt in a mixer. Adjust the thickness of chutney by adding more vinegar as per your taste

Healthily speaking I think maida should be substituted with rice flour
