While checking some receipes i found that tea bags are added during the cooking process. May i know the reason why tea bags are added while cooking?

in chineese recipes ...tea is used.no need to add tea in our recipes.

Hi ! I'm not aware of tea bags being used in any other dish except for Channa masala . Tea bags give a rich dark colour to the channa. It will also give a nice flavor but not tat of Tea .

Sometimes tea bags are being used to add colour in the recipes like chole.

Tea bags added for smell and refreshment as the ingredients in it.. Thats all
