a dessert from bengal yummy&tasty

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 3/4 cup condensed milk
    • 2 cup milk powder
    • ½ cup sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • ½ litre milk
    • 100 gm butter
    • 2 slice bread.(edges removed)
    • 1 tsp cardamom powder
    • kesar few strips
    • few drops of kewra.
    • almonds and pistachios.(for garnishing)

    Directions

    1. In a bowl add milk powder,sugar,milk,condensed milk,mix it with hand beater.
    2. Put this mixture in pan and heat it,stir it continuously.
    3. Put bread and egg in a mixer grinder.mix it till combined well.
    4. In another pan cook butter and egg mixture for 2-3 minutes,now add it in milk mixture.
    5. Now milk will start getting thick add cardamom powder,kesar,kewra, stir continuosly otherwise it will burn.Now cook it till thickens.
    6. Garnish with almonds and pistachios,let it to cool &serve.
    7. Serving in earthen pots will be more better
