Recipe by rabz of Dhaka, BD

Kunafa is an Arabian dessert which is made out of very thin kind of (Laccha/sev) but I would like u to try the bread version as many won't get the privilege to find kunafa pastry in their home countries.

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings

    • 1 - 1 1/2 (depending on the size of your dish) loaf of white bread.(sides removed)

    9. Spread a layer of filling, then top it with a layer of bread mix and drizzle with left over butter.
    10. Bake in an oven at 350 F until nice & golden from top & bottom.
    11. Remove from oven & run a knife on the sides of the Kunafa. Place a tray under it & flip it up side down.
    12. Drizzle with half the syrup and cut into squares or triangles shapes
    13. Sprinkle with Pistachios.
    14.  leave the rest of the syrup so that everyone can help them selves at the time of serving, enjoy.
