Chickpeas vada

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

  • 1 no. Onion, chopped
  • bunch Mint, chopped leaves as required
  • bunch Coriander leaves, chopped leaves as required
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 4 nos. Green Chilies
  • bunch Ginger, 1 inch piece
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • Vegetable Oil for frying

chick peas 2 cups

Directions

  1. Soak the chick peas overnight.
  2. To the food processer add chick peas, green chilies and ginger salt as required grind coarsly.
  3. Remove the ground paste to a bowl to this add chopped onions, chopped mint and coriander leaves,cuminseeds and coriander powder mix well.
  4. Heat oil , take small amount of mix with hand and flatten it with fingers slowly drop that into the oil.
  5. Deep fry till golden brown or until they become crispy. We can put 6 or 7 at a time and fry.
