Singhare ke kachhari

Sauteed water chestnuts

try singhare in a new avtaar.very very tasty. best dish for vrat.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1/2 kg singhare (Indian water chestnuts), peeled and chopped
    • 1 tbsp jeera
    • 1 tbsp chopped green chilli
    • 1 tsp garam masala
    • 2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
    • 1 tsp lemon juice
    • salt to taste(when making during vrat use vrat ka salt)
    • 1 tbsp ghee

    Directions

    1. heat ghee in a wok.add jeera and greenchilli.
    2. add chopped singhare and salt.
    3. cook till singhare gets tender.
    4. add coriander , lemon juice, garam masala.
    5. cook for another 1 minute.
    6. serve hot with tea in the breakfast or in the evening.
