Tandoori Chicken - a variation

Chicken prepared in tandoori oven

Very tasty dry chicken preparation using tandoori oven to try at home.

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1/2 kg chicken pieces
    • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
    • 1 1/2 tsp chilli powder
    • 1 tsp fresh pepper powder
    • 1/2 tsp gren cardamom - 1,cloves- 1,cinnamon stick- 1/2 powdered
    • 1 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp lemon juice
    • 2 tsp fresh curd
    • 2 tbsp ghee or butter
    • 1 tsp chat powder

    Directions

    1. Mix all the ingredients except the last 2 and marinate for an hour.
    2. Put these pieces in a tandoori oven for 15 mins.
    3. After 10 mins take them out and brush with ghee or butter and then with 1 tsp chat powder.
    4. Put them in tandoori oven for 10 mins.take them out after 10 mins.
    5. Serve them hot with chicken fried rice.

    wat is d odr way of cuking it...i mean i dnt have dat tandoori oven....can i deep fry it

    Yes -u can dear Marufa Ariff( but to be frank I didnot try this using Electric oven).U can BBQ this or try using Grill (both gas and using M.Oven).See the Grilled Chicken Recipe for the Grill timings(depends on the qty of the chicken used).
