Ingredients


  • 1/2 cup Cashew nuts
  • 3 tbsp Melon seeds
  • 4 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tbsp Ghee (clarified Butter)
  • 2-3 finely chopped Green chillies
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp Saffron
  • 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 cup Paneer crumbs
  • 1 chopped Onion
  • 1 chopped Tomato
  • 2 tbsp Corn flour
  • 3 cups Water
  • Salt to taste
  • Cilantro (Coriander leaves) & Fresh Cream for Garnishing.

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix crumbled Paneer, Green chillies, little Salt & Corn flour. Add little Water & make lemon size balls.
  2. Boil Water in a pan. Roll the Paneer balls in Corn flour & add them to the boiling Water. Boil for 7-8 mins. Gently remove them.
  3. Grind Cashew nuts & Melon seeds to a fine paste. Remove & keep aside.
  4. Grind Onion & Tomato to a fine paste. Keep aside.
  5. Heat Oil & Ghee in a pan. Add Onion-Tomato paste. Fry for a minute. Add Ginger-Garlic paste & fry for 30 secs. Now add Cashew nut & Melon paste. Mix well.
  6. Add Garam Masala, Red chillie, Sugar, Safforn & Salt. Mix well. Add little Water to make gravy. Boil for 30 secs & gently add the boiled Paneer balls to it.
  7. Mix slowly & boil for another 30-40 secs. Remove from heat. Add Fresh Cream & Cilantro. Serve hot with Roti, Chapati or steamed Rice.
