Hi Arpana, It is often called as Carissa carandus or Natal Plum or Karvand. It is commonly found in Indian grocery markets in winters. It is red white fruit very sour in taste. It is often used for pickle. Thanks Chitra

This one is nice and different. Simple recipe, I always wondered what people make with these red fruit. I thought it is eaten raw and I tried it also, but is very sour. Now I can make this.
