Potato pieces cooked with spices Filed in Main Dishes Serves 4 people

Ingredients
- 3 medium size potato- boiled and peeled
- 1 onion-chopped
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp salt
- few curry leaves
- few coriander leaves
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 2 tsp refined oil
Directions
- Boil potatoes in a pan with enough water for 15 mins.Remove the potatoes and wash with ordinary water for 1 min and peel off the skin.Cut the potatoes into bite size pieces.
- Mix all the ingredients well with potato pieces so that the masala gets evenly spread.
- Microwave on high for 5 mins.
- Serve this tasty potato masala with rice and sambar or rasam or Curd or chapathis (add 1/2 cup water to the masala before microwaving).
