Tuvar dal

very healthy,tasty!

this dal is all time my favorite recipe, good taste with rice & chapati, plz try it!

Ingredients vegetarian 1 servings


    • 2 cup tuvar dal(boiled in liquid quancistancy)
    • 1 onion chopped
    • 1 tsp zeera(cumin seeds)
    • 4 tbsp oil+ 2 tbsp ghee
    • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
    • 6 green chillies
    • 1 tomato
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    • 2 tbsps redchilli powder
    • 1 tbsp coriander powder
    • 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
    • 6 slices of green mango
    • 1 tbsp sugar
    • salt as to taste
    • water as per requirment
    • 1/2 cup coriander leaves

    Directions

    1. First take a pan add oil+ghee, zeera,onion appears golden brown add ginger garlic paste.
    2. add tomato, all spices, water(1/4 cup).
    3. add mixer of dal,green chillies water,salt,sugar, mango slices & coriander leaves.
    4. at the last add ghee( 1 tbsp) & boil for 5 minutes.

    hi Mariya, I really liked your receipe as I also often cook my dal similarly. Try adding a little lemon juice before serving when raw mangoes are NA.
