Mango ice cream

everybody like ice cream, naturally make

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • ½ liter Milk
    • 3 tbsp Milk Powder
    • 1/4 cup Sugar
    • 1/4 tsp Agar Agar Powder
    • ½ tsp Custard Powder
    • ½ cup Mango Pulp

    Directions

    1. Boil milk until it is reduced to half its volume.
    2. Add sugar and boil to till sugar dissolves.
    3. Add custard powder (dissolve in water)  and boil for a minute.
    4. Add agar agar powder, stir and remove from heat.
    5. Cool and add milk powder and mango pulp.
    6. Beat the mixture well in a baking pan and allow it to freeze semi-set.
    7. Take out from freezer and beat the frozen mixture until smooth.
    8. Pour mixture to baking pan and cover it with foil freeze again.

    Agar Agar Powder is a scientific name of gelatin/ China Grass. U can get Agar Agar powder in the market, It is the main ingredient which gives viscocity and thickness as well as it hold the Ice-Cream. Hope my Information is just useful. Thanks

    IN GUJARATI WE CALL IT GHAAS. HOPE IT HELPS. THE OTHER NAMES ARE AGAR AGAR POWDER AND CHINA GRASS. WHEN U BOIL IT BECOMES JELLO.

    the english name is agar agar, also we know as china grass. we use that to make desert. hope this helps.
