Pineapple Sherbet

Pineapple & Buttermilk

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1/2 Pineapple (cut into 1/4" pieces)
    • 1/2 Pineapple (cut into small pieces)
    • 3/4 cup Sugar
    • 1 Lemon juice
    • Zest of 1 Lemon
    • 4 cups ButterMilk
    • Freezer safe Glass container (ceramic would be best)

    Directions

    1. Take Pineapple pieces in a deep pan. Also add the juice that comes while cutting it.
    2. Add Sugar, Lemon juice & Zest & boil till soft.
    3. Grind the boiled pieces to a smooth paste with 1/2 cup of ButterMilk.
    4. Mix the Pineapple Puree with the remaining ButterMilk. Add the cut pieces of Pineapple & mix well.
    5. Pour it in a Freezer safe container & freeze till it is hard & sets. Put 2 scoops in a serving bowl, place a Mint leaf on top & serve.

    Thats so cool, coz the readymade crush did not serve the purpose of making a cool pineapple sherbet.
