Beef Hottie

A hot beef curry

Beware this one is for people who like it hot and spicy!

Ingredients non vegetarian 1 servings


    • 1 Kg Diced beef
    • 2 medium Chopped onion
    • 2 Cardamoms
    • 2 Cloves
    • 2 sticks Dalchini
    • Blend (in a blender) - 2 x tomatoes, 4 green chillies, 6 garlic pods, 2 inch ginger, salt to taste
    • 2 tbsp White vinegar
    • 2 tbsp Oil
    • 2 tsp Red chilli powder
    • 2 tsp Haldi (tumeric powder)
    • 2 tsp Garam masala (curry powder)
    • 3 tsp Dhaniya powder
    • Salt - to taste
    • 1 tsp Black pepper powder

    Directions

    1. Make a paste of the tomatoes, green chillies,garlic,ginger and salt and keep aside.
    2. Heat oil and add whole spices.
    3. Now add the onions and fry till translucent (pink).
    4. Add the tomato puree and cook till the paste turns orange.
    5. now add all the spices and fryy till mixtyre starts to leave oil.
    6. Add beef and cook for another 10 to 15 mins on med heat.
    7. add vinegar and water and make curry  thick or watery as per your preference.
    8. Servce with white boiled rice
