Paneer Burji Rice

u can use frozen cubed paneer.If u dont want to use sambar powder,can have a spoon of garam masala.dry methi leaves is used just for flavour.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup Basmati Rice soaked & cooked
    • 75 gms Paneer
    • 1 Carrot,cut small sized
    • 1 Onion,finely chopped
    • 2 Tomatoes,finely chopped(no seed)
    • 1 tsp Coriander leaves
    • 1/2 tsp finely chopped ginger
    • 1 tsp finely chopped green chilli
    • 1/2 tsp Haldi
    • 1/2 tsp sambar powder
    • 1/2 tsp  tsp garam masala
    • 1 tsp Oil
    • 6 nos.Cashew nuts
    • 3-4 dry methi leaves
    • 1 tsp Salt

    Directions

    1. Steam the carrot without adding water.
    2. Heat oil in a pan.Add ginger,chilli,cashew & Haldi.
    3. Saute Onion till it becomes slightly brown.add chopped tomatoes.Fry for a minute.
    4. Add sambar powder and garam masala.
    5. Then add Grated fresh paneer.cook for another 2 minutes.Add Salt & coriander leaves & dry methi leaves.
    6. Switch off the gas.
    7. Mix well with Basmati Rice.

    Put the steamed carrots up your arse, then put them in the paneer bbhurji rice in Step 4

    carrots should be added in step 4.Add carrots and then put sambar powder and garam masala powder.Thanks ashwini.
