Chinese stick

This is Meenal back again with a new recipe. Hope whoever tries it will enjoy it.

Ingredients vegetarian 7 servings

  • ½ kg Potato
  • 200 gms. French Beans
  • 100 gms. Carrot
  • 150 gms. Bell pepper
  • 100 gms. Cabbage
  • 5 slices White Bread
  • 2 tsps. Green Chili Paste
  • 1 tsp Ajinomoto
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable Oil for frying


  1. Boil, peel, and mash potatoes. Add salt.
  2. Chop carrots and beans into very fine pieces.
  3. Chop cabbage very finely. Add salt and keep aside for 5-10 minutes. Squeeze out the excess water.
  4. Chop capcicum finely.
  5. Crumble the bread pieces.
  6. Heat 1 tbsp. oil. Add carrots beans. Stir fry.
  7. Then add cabbage, capcicum, 1 tsp ajinomoto, crushed green chillies and salt to taste.
  8. Stir fry and remove from heat. Cool.
  9. In the mashed potato, add the cooled vegetable mixture and crumbled bread pieces. Mix well.
  10. Make lemon sized balls.
  11. Shape like 2-3 inch stick. Fry in hot oil.
  12. Drain the excess oil on paper.
  13. Serve hot with tomato or chilli sauce.

Hei meenal i tried this receipe and it was really very good. I tried it in two ways one with bread pieces crumpled as u said and one by rolling the sticks on bread crumbs and then frying both turned out very nice u try it All the best and come back with more recipes.
