Bread Dhokla

easily prepared breakfast specially for kids and can be filled in tiffins.

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 1/2 cup grated coconut
    • chopped green chillies
    • 1 tb sugar
    • 1 cup dahi
    • 4 slice of breads
    • few curry leaves
    • 1/2 tsp black sarso
    • 1 or 2 broken sukha lanka
    • oil for tadka.


    1. First blend the dahi with grated coconut , green chillies and sugar.Keep it aside for filling.
    2. Now remove the sides of the bread and fill the above and prepare it like sandwiches. Now cut the bread side wise.
    3. In a pan now heat some oil and put sarso,curry leaves and sukha lanka and pour it above the sliced breads.
    4. your bread dhokla is ready.

    Sukha Lanka is whole red dried chilli. If one cannot find it in stores ,replace it with simple green Chillies.

    black sarso is black mustard seeds and sukha lanka is whole red chillies.
