Kadai Vegetables

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

  • 3 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp Methi seeds
  • Paste of 1 Onion, 2 Green chillies, 1 tsp each ginger-garlic
  • Vegetables: Peas, Capsicum, Cauliflower, Tomatoes
  • 5 Masalas:
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, Garam masala 1 tsp, Salt, 1/2 tsp Turmeric, 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp Kasoori Methi

Directions

  1. Take oil in a pan. Add tomatoes, red chilli powder, methi seeds
  2. Put the paste of onion, green chilli and ginger garlic. Fry well. 
  3. Add red chilli powder, garam masala, salt, turmeric, coriander powder and fry well for 5-6 min.
  4. Put peas, capsicum, cauliflower (cauliflower to be fried in oil before putting into masala) till vegetables are tender. Keep on sprinkling water.
  5.  Garnish with kasoori methi and serve
