stir fried szechwan chicken

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1/2 Kg Chicken (cut into 1"pieces)
    • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
    • 5 tbsp tomato ketchup
    • 1 tbsp vinegar
    • 2 tbsp red chilli sauce
    • 1 tbsp soya sauce
    • 1 tsp sugar
    • 1 tsp red chilli powder
    • a pinch of ajinomoto
    • 3 tbsp oil
    • 2 tbsp cornflour dissolved in half cup of water
    • 1 tbsp spring onion(chopped)
    • salt to taste

    Directions

    1. Wash and clean chicken
    2. In a pan heat oil, fry ginger garlic paste for a minute. Add 2 dry red chillies.
    3. Add chicken,and all the above ingredients except springs onion and cornflour.
    4. Cover the pan and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
    5. Finally add spring onions and cornflour mix well.
    6. Cook till chicken done.
    7. Stir once in between.
    8. Serve hot.
