Dates and nuts roll

Ingredients vegetarian 10 servings


    • 2 cups deseeded dates
    • 1/2 cups finely chopped cashews
    • 1/2 cups finely chopped pistas
    • 1 tbsp ghee
    • aluminium foil to roll

    Directions

    1. In a heavy bottomed vessel, add dates, ghee and nuts and mix well till dates turn soft and mushy,
    2. Remove from fire and make a dough like chappati dough using hands
    3. Now take a orange sized ball of dough and roll into a cylindrical shape
    4. You can smear your palms with ghee or maida so the mix does not stick to your hands.
    5. Roll it in an aluminium foil and keep in fridge for some time
    6. Take out when needed and cut into circles of desired size.
    7. Its simple to make for parties
