Stuffed green chilies

Hot potato stuffing

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 6 long and fresh green chilies
    • 1 boiled, mashed potato
    • salt to taste
    • 2 tbsp dry pomegranate (sukha anar dana)
    • 1 tsp crushed coriander dry
    • 1/4 cup fresh coriander chopped
    • 1/2 cup gram flour
    • 1/4 tsp baking soda
    • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
    • oil for deep frying

    Directions

    1. Make paste of gram flour, pinch of baking soda, salt to taste, red chili powder and some water. Keep aside
    2. Take mash potato in a bowl add anar dana, coriander powder, fresh coriander, salt and 1/4 tsp red chili powder and mix it well.
    3. Take a green chili retain it's cap, with a sharp knife mark one side and remove seeds and fill in potatos
    4. Fill the remaining chillies as above
    5. heat oil, dip chilies in gram paste and deep fry til golden
    6. Serve with coriander chatney

    Mam,yr receipe is nice, bt instead of puting soda-bi-carb u can add add hot boiling oil into besan baater,which will give softness like soda-bi-carb.
