Baked Chicken Rolls

An easy to make snack.Serve hot

Ingredients non vegetarian 8 servings


  • 2 cup plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3/4 cup milk (or according to need)
  • filling:

  • 250 gm chicken, boiled
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red chillies
  • 1/2 tsp crushed coriander
  • salt to taste

    Directions

    1. Put flour, salt, baking powder, butter in a bowl. Mix with hands.
    2. Add milk and knead well until it forms a compact ball.
    3. Knead dough until it is smooth and elastic. Set aside for 20 minutes.
    4. Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan. Add chicken and all other ingredients.
    5. Mix well and remove from the heat. Let it cool.
    6. Divide dough into 8 parts .
    7. Put filling in each part and make round balls.
    8. Place on greased baking tray, keeping them at a certain distance one from the other.
    9. Brush with egg and sprinkle some sesame seeds.
    10. Bake in preheated oven on 180 c for 20-25 minutes.
    11. Take out and brush with oil to have some shine.

    kindly can you secify if red wine vinegar be used i mean does it contain any alcohol or not thanks
