Sesame Paneer

An Evening snack by my mom

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 200 g Paneer
    • 1/4 cup Corn flour
    • 2 tblsp Maida(All purpose flour)
    • 1/2 tsp Soya sauce
    • 1 tsp Til (Sesame seeds)
    • 1/4 cup Water
    • Salt to taste
    • Vegetable oil for deep frying

    Directions

    1. Cut Paneer into strips of 3 inches in lenght & 1/2 inch thick.
    2. In a bowl mix Corn flour, Maida, Soya sauce, Sesame seeds & salt with water to make a smooth batter (Not too thin or too thick)
    3. Dip the paneer pieces in the batter & deep fry on a medium heat until golden brown.
    4. Drain completely on an absorbent paper & serve hot with tomato ketchup or Mint chutney.
