Kozhi Mukki Porichathu

Stuffed Chicken

A delicious delight from Calicut. A well prepared dish can get a lot of oohs and aahs around the table

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • ½ Kg Chicken
    • 2 tbsp Pepper powder
    • 4 Green chillies
    • 1 Ginger (sliced)
    • 1 cup All pupose flour (maida)
    • 2 Eggs
    • Coriander leaves - for garnishing
    • Oil - To fry
    • Water - as needed
    • Salt - as needed

    Directions

    1. Take the chicken cut into medium pieces. Cook the chicken pieces by adding pepper powder and salt for 10-15 minutes with sufficient amount of water. The chicken stock must not be drained off.
    2. In a bowl beat the eggs, add the all purpose flour along with chillies, ginger and chicken stock and salt. Mix well. Then add the cooked chicken pieces into the mixture and keep it for 10-15 minutes.
    3. After 15 minutes deep fry the chicken. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
