Eggless Chocolate Cake

Ingredients


  • 1 cup white flour (maida)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted Melted Butter
  • 1½ tbsp cocoa
  • ½ tbsp Drinking chocolate
  • ¾  tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Soda- bi- Carbonate
  • ½ tin Condensed Sweetened Milk
  • ½ tsp Vanilla Essence
  • ½ cup water

Directions

  1. Take butter and condensed milk in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Mix white flour, cocoa, drinking chocolate, Baking Powder and Soda- bi-Carbonate in a separate bowl.
  3. In the condensed milk mixture, add (2) together with vanilla essence and mix well. Keep on adding water until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  4. Grease the oven tray, pour the mixture on it and bake at 180 degrees centigrade for 20 minutes.
  5. Cool before serving.

Hi!Nidhi, i tried baking this cake & it was a super hit.... apprently i tried it on my daughter's Bday... i was so over whelmed.Thank you. I made a slight variation instead of water i added coke,as to the same quantity of water as u mentioned.Thank you again.......

Hi! would like to know the exact quantity of condensed milk, as here in my country i get a couple of sizes in condensed milk & ofcourse the quantity would vary.Thank you

condensed milk is itself very sweet so if u r using dat there's no need to add sugar.

hi Nidhi, I wud like to tell u that u can use fresh milk cream (malai) instead of Condensed milk, but then you will have to add sugar to it and beat it properly after which you can proceed as per the method given.

hi i tried ur cake but didn't make.don't know.i made it according to method as u said.but don't know.n i want to ask u will we not use the sugar in this cake?

hi nidhi... well i have never tried with simple milk so not sure about the out come
