Simple doughnuts that you can prepare at home

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings

    • 1 cup white flour
    • ½ cup sugar (powdered)
    • pinch of salt
    • milk as required
    • 1 tsp butter
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • ½ tsp Cinnamon powder
    • oil to deep fry


    1. Sift flour and baking powder in a dish
    2. Add sugar, salt, cinnamon powder and sift again.
    3. mix butter in too.
    4. make dough using milk
    5. Make ½ inch thick sheet of dough and cutt it in ring shape
    6. or any other shape you like then deep fry these rings till light brown on medium heat.
    7. Use as snacks at evening tea

    One suggestion, while the doughnut is still hot, dip one side (the flat side) in chocolate sauce. For other variations, dip the other side in dessicated coconut. They will taste yummy! Comments required please!

    u can decorate it with chocolate syrup


    the doughnut recipe was good.While serving it to children,it would be tastier if the doughnut is sliced slightly into half and smeared with butter icing or even jam.
