Saru Chakuli

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup raw Rice
    • 1/4 cup black Gram
    • 1/2 Coconut
    • 1/4 tsp Soda bicarb
    • 2 tbsp Sugar
    • salt to taste
    • 1 cup Water
    • 1 cup sweetened Khoya

    Directions

    1. Soak the rice and black gram for 2 hrs.
    2. Grind rice, black gram, and coconut with little water.
    3. Mix sugar, salt and soda. Keep for 2 hrs.
    4. Add little water to get a spreadable consitency
    5. Take a pan heat it in medium fire.
    6. Spread the batter put little oil on top (make like dosa)
    7. Now put the sweetened khoya and fold to get a d shape.
    8. Serve with any chutney.

    I treid the recepie, and came out well....Great and Simple
