Balti Garam Masala

Authentic Balti Masala

Besides using in Balti Curries, you can use this masala in Kashmiri Cuisine

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 4 ½ tbsps. Dhania seeds
    • 2 ½ tbsps white Jeera seeds
    • 5 tsp. Aniseed
    • 25 gms. Dalchini
    • 1 ½ tbsp. green Elaichi seeds.
    • 1 tbsp. Cloves
    • 1 ½ dried Mint leaves
    • 5 Bay leaves
    • 1 tbsp. dry Rose petals
    • 1 tsp. Saffron

    Directions

    There is not much to the directions of this masala. Prepare just as you would any other masala powder.

    1. Roast them, preferably separately.
    2. Cool and grind.
    3. Store in an air-tight container
