Kopra (coconut) Pak

Ingredients vegetarian 10 servings


    • 4 cups of finely grated coconut.
    • 2 cups sugar.
    • 1 tbsp butter.
    • 1 cup full cream milk powder.
    • 2 tsps cardamom powder.
    • Chopped almonds and pistas for garnishing.

    Directions

    1. Grease a square tray with little butter and keep aside.
    2. In a pan, put coconut , sugar, cardamom pwd and butter.
    3. Cook on medium heat stirring all the time till the mixture leaves the sides and it turns light brown.
    4. Remove form the stove and add milk powder, mix well and pour the mixture in a greased tray,flatten it with flat  bottomed bowl(greased).
    5. Garnish with almond and pistas.
    6. Cut into diamond shape pieces.
    7. Ease the pieces put when cool.
    8. ALTERNATIVELY :,YOU CAN ADD  ANY COLOUR OF YOUR CHOICE.
