Corn Cutlets

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup Boiled Corn niblets (or 1 can of Corn niblets)
    • 2-3 tblsp Besan (for binding)
    • 1 big Boiled Potato (mashed)
    • 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
    • 1/2 tsp Red chillie powder
    • 3-4 finely chopped Green chillies
    • 1 tblsp chopped Mint leaves
    • 1 tblsp chopped Cilantro (coriander leaves)
    • 1 tblsp Lemon juice
    • Salt to taste
    • Vegetable Oil for frying

    Directions

    1. Finely chop the boiled Corn niblets keeping aside a handful of the niblets for later use.
    2. Add Potato, Mint leaves, Garam masala, Green chillies, Red chilli powder, Besan, Salt & lemon juice. Mix well. Add the remaining Corn niblets. Mix well.
    3. Take a lemon size of the mixture & make round patties.
    4. Heat Oil in kadai on Medium heat & deep fry till golden brown. Serve hot with Mint chutney or Ketchup.
    5. Note : Adjust Besan accordingly. These patties can also be shallow fried on a tava or grilled.

    soujanya ji,my question is not related to this recipe butlooks like u have an answer to any ques.related to cooking.can u please post the recipe for snack RAJ KACHORI as it is called in Delhi at bikanerwala sweets or haldiram's.
