Bhaturey

Delicious, melt in a mouth bhaturey has added potato to give them softer texture.

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings


    • 1 potato (large)
    • 2 tsp oil
    • 2 cup maida
    • 3 tsp curd
    • 1 cup milk
    • salt to taste
    • oil to fry

    Directions

    1. Pressure cook potato, when cool remove skin, bring  in a bowl,add oil & smash it.
    2. Add salt, maida & curd & mix it.take some milk for making soft dough of it.
    3. Knead it until smooth, then cover it with a cloth, leave it for 25min.
    4. Make 10-12 pieces of the dough, roll each piece like puri shape
    5. Deep fry bhaturey until golden brown & puffed up.
    6. Generally  bhaturey are serve with chole masala but they are great accompaniment with curries also.

    People pl read it carefully in 2ndstep it's written ADD , so all the rest ingredients r to be added to potato :)

    you have not mentioned as what to do with potato.should we have to add this while mixing the flour.if it s clear we can try out

    dear harry, u have to make dough of bhaturey by mixing smash potato & flour & other mentioned ingredients.

    hi bhumika, no dear you can't add paneer instead of potato, if you don't want to add potato then don't add it in your bhaturey, it will still tasty & spongy.

    hi archa,thanks for your suggestion & surely i never mind any suggestions from anybody,its no matter, but i want to tell you, 1 cup milk is just a approximate quantity which i mentioned as a ingredients but i too not mentioned use a cup of milk in actual procedure,i wrote use some milk to soften dough. anyway i hope recipe will come out good,thanks & bye

    hi kirti i have made bhaturey.i wanna say something abt bhaturey ingridents that as ur receipe 1 cup of milk add so i dont think its rite 1 cup of milk is much more.just edit ur recipe ingridents we can add minimum or minimum milk other word we can say that 1/4 cup.thats it. its enough to knead.and make dough.sorry yaar never mind.
