Nariyal Ki Chutney

Popular chutney, can also gives a good taste with Dosa-Uttapam.

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings


    • 1 coconut(scraped & grated)
    • ½ cup curd
    • 1-2 curry leaves
    • 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
    • 1-2 chopped green chillies
    • salt to taste
    • ½ tsp sugar
    • 1 tsp mustard & cumin seeds
    • 2 tsp oil
    • ½ tsp turmeric
    • pinch of asafoetida

    Directions

    1. Heat a small bowl with oil, add cumin, mustard seeds & curry leaves. once crackled add salt , green chillies & turmeric powder & then add asafoetida & remove it from fire.
    2. In another bowl take grated nariyal,mix it with curd & add the oil in it & again mix it well.
    3. Finally add sugar & coriander leaves & serve it.

    Chutney's ingredient says how tasty it must be.. I will definately try it once.
