Thanks Nandita. I like the idea of boiling the koftas ... We tend not to have any kofta / pakora subzi because of of the oil ... :( but this gives me hope !! I will definitely try this.

I think there is no need to boil koftas. The better option is to fry the koftas in oil.It is time consuming also.

This is a delicious receipe. I also think that oil should be added while making koftas to make it soft.

HEY I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN ONE HAS ALREADY MADE SEMI THICK PASTE FOR KOFTAS WHY BOIL THEM IN WATER WE CAN ALSO DIRECTLY FRY THEM IN OIL IN LOW SIM SO THAT WHEN THE GRAVY IS READY WE CAN POUR THE KOFTAS WHEN THE GRAVY IS READY..I THINK THIS WULD BE MUCH BETTER THEN TO BOIL THE KOFTAS COZ THE KOFTAS TEND TO GET A LIL SOGGY THOU SOFT WHICH I THINK THT THE OIL FRYG WULD BE MUCH BETTER JUS TRY MY METHOD AND SEE IF YOU LIKE IT.
