Well, the dough becomes sticky while kneading, and than the malai balls puffed up quickly but remain hard from inside, as if the inner side is not well cooked,, plus as soon as it cools down, the malai balls shrink/reduced from its original puffed size,, I think if we knead it with milk or water instead of adding egg,,,, has some body tried???can some body guide please,,,,thanks...

Thanks for the recipe. It came out pretty well. The dough was quite sticky so I had to keep wetting my hands. I was too lazy to make 20 balls so just made around 12 balls and they puffed uppp and became huge. Quite easy. Thanks once again.

I tried it,but the rosogollahs were hard and did not fluff.Do you think its because I put too much sugar with the milk. You did not mention whether milk and sugar should be boiled in high heat or not.if anyone knows the solon of my problem then psle l lease add it in your comments.

ras malai would taste best without eggs

i use chenna to make the ras malai balls ... so instead of using milk powder and egg, simply use chenna (made from 1ltr milk) add a little suji (1tbls) and 1tbls of maida and powdered sugar to taste.
