This recipe for Naan is great for preparing at home in a normal grill/oven.However if you have access to a clay oven, the naans will turn out the best in that.

I am so happy to have a good recipe for Naan. Thank you! Here in the U.S. it is found in the good markets, but is $2.50 for a package of 2! Thank you.

Nan receipe do not mention the temp. of the oven to use.

'Very hot' means something about temperature I think. IME it is best to let the grill get as hot as possible so as to cook the naans as fast as possible, otherwise they lose that springy texture.

Excellent home made soft naans.Topped with kasuri methi, and a blob of butter.. they are simply yummy.
