You are absolutely right Debraj. Traditional paati shaaptas are made with coconut and jaggery filling. This bangladeshi 'PATI SAPTA ???' is very different. Not heard of such a kind of Paati shaapta.

Actual pati sapta (pronounced as paati shaapta) is made with coconut and jaggery filling. In a kadhai on gas, mix grated coconut, jaggery / sugar (as per the quantity of coconut, khova/o kalakand , and few elaichi seeds.....mix well and fill in the crepes. Roll the crepes and serve hot
