Hello Tasnim, Good day. You may want to visit the links I have attached ahead, to get an idea about 'Gamboge or Mangosteen oil tree in English /Kokum or kokam in Hindi/ cocum in French/ Kokam in German / Cocum in Italian/ Cocum in Spanish languages. I have no idea what do they call it in Urdu though. Nevertheless, the first very useful link is, http://www.aayisrecipes.com/2008/04/27/kokum/ And, the second being, http://www.theepicentre.com/Spices/kokum.html The third link is, http://www.nandyala.org/mahanandi/archives/2008/01/24/kokum-garcinia-indica-amsool/ Hope, the pictographical representation of the fruit in those sites might help you to find kokum at your place. Good Luck.
